When one dies, one's record of deeds is sealed. However, for the following three deeds, one continues to earn God's reward, even after one's death: (i) an endowment for some charitable work; (ii) leaving behind such scholarly works that may benefit subsequent generations; and (iii) virtuous children who pray for their parents.
